founder of the Nunawading Men’s Athletic Club George Vernal from Melbourne, Australia, passed away a few weeks ago on April 2024, the club has struck a medal to be awarded to the athlete judged by some of the Vernal family (who made up about a third of our runners today) who performed the best at the Jells Park relays (the first race of the cross country season).
