Gene Jerome Eli, of Yankton, South Dakota passed away on May 11, 2024, at the age of 66, due to a motorcycle accident. When the motorcycle crashed into the median, the rider was thrown from the vehicle. In spite of the fact that he was not wearing a helmet, he sustained severe injuries. Eli was put in an ambulance and taken to a nearby hospital, but he did not survive his injuries and passed away there.
